1189 :O !WAKE UP!

That was another hot May afternoon...As i surfed channels, I got yet another dose of RESULTS!! ..Yeah, the hsc board exam results were out again..and the media flashed in the all-time top scoring--> 1189!...Gosh!,where was the competition heading to??????....I do remember the same time, years back, when even 1150+ was deemed as a remarkable achievement B) ..Now, there is one fundamental question to all sensitive, rather civilized ,readers :"Are we Indians condemned to crawl all thro' life, with this mark oriented system?? :@ " I mean, sure there are IITs,IIMs...which are brands by themselves...but then why can't our education system be more flexible and allow the students to do whatever they want?...As if to catalyze my thought process my mom stepped in from nowhere :P "Rosh dear, why should you be this interested when you are in the verge of finishing your formal education...keep aside your cock and bull stories and go..get some sleep :/ "....Now that's one standing example for the FLAW in our system ;).. We are trained to obey reflexively, but demanded to think critically :D
For the past few days I've  been pondering over and over again about the sheer ineffectiveness and impracticability of the methods and techniques of our primary and secondary education...Its true that I can't relive the past....but then, I can never erase the past as well!! Has my education literally made me wander through life?  Beats me! India has a whole plethora of knowledge to offer to the yearning heart...Sounds very convincing, though far from being true :/ ....Suddenly the basic incentives of our education seemed wrong :( :( .....Whats all this mugging up,learning by rote business?? Why do we have so many tests , internals , externals ,lab viva & 'u know what' tests?? Humph..,even as I am typing this I have one 'Artificial Intelligence' book of mine that I'm supposed to "LEARN" :P ..I barely remember those 10 lines of pseudo-code on "how to make a machine think", so how am I supposed to know how to apply them if we don't do case studies or projects on them?? :| Its not what goes into your head that matters..its what you regurgitate on paper that does..... Utter rubbish! (^^^) ..The bitter truth is that, students who crave to understand the subject are the ones who are hard pressed later to mug up more stuff, coz that's what the university demands :'( :@ ...
Its high time for us to access the performance of our system:
Why can't more practical stuffs, workshops, field trips replace the traditional classroom teachings?
Why can't professors/teachers,irrespective of their qualifications, be periodically checked for their incentives to teach well?
Why can't a fresh management team, one that is not a part of the status quo,one that is truly rooted in the world of public service be established?
Why can't we shun off those manuals, text books,blue-prints in this "e-world" era?? After all we can never design a blueprint for a fruitful living..can we? :P

I do understand that things are easier said than done...but when one helpless soul can think this much about a change, how much more can our leaders, who are responsible to make our nation what it was destined to be do! Again the so called "competent media" is equally to be blamed... a media where Kareena's 400gm gold neck piece for her wedding and Kim de Souza occupy the top places, where education and world affairs should have been :@ ..Now, can anyone stop me from stereotyping media as "all set to mint more and more money!"..
Heck, all education systems have their own loop holes...Agreed!...But why on earth India's contribution to the world of science still remains debatable? Thought bubbles :"Did the kid Shoreya, the pride of India for the past few days, solve the 350 yr Newton puzzle just because he was in the cosiness of the west :O ??" ...That very thought sent jitters all over me!! Just then ma phone rang up...."Dude...we've made it...the Louis.I.Khan trophy is all ours \m/ ..Catch you @ coffee day...Mind you..self sponsorship, make sure you have at least 100 bucks :D .."So saying Tanya hang up..Now,that's really one mountain top experience B) .....The most prestigious award an innovator can get in her early 20's \m/....I have found that Facebook is the easiest for anyone to game on, & I loved it that way ;) ...Even as I thinking if its worth putting the khan achievement as a status, pat..pat..came 2 notifications..."yay!..the 3 musketeers turned motorola scholars B) "...and  there was another one too..."For those 3 weeks of sleepless nights and our morning zombie looks :P
Got selected for the IBM TGMC '11 project- Second round...! :)" .....
Whoa, I was feeling the difference :) :) ...I was enormously overwhelmed with happiness :) :) :D ...Perhaps my reasons were flawed...yes,Shoreyas are made in India too \m/ :D :D ....My ultimate realization is that everyone are born for the skies...Every ethnic group was created to be a winner...I'm dreaming...a vision for India where prime interests lies in gaining a deeper understanding, a wider outlook,.... a dream for a newer and stronger India...For now, i've got more than one reason to celebrate...Partyz ONNN !!! :D

I'm a part of MY country and I could dramatically improve my station in life, and get whatever I wanted just by believing I could do so!
Yes, Proud to have born in this land of diversities bonded by democracy B) \m/!
                                                                 JAI HO!

Definitely not another love story…it’s “A SAGA”!!!

Falling in love has never been difficult… You just have to pose romantic or have the good looks to land boys/girls  :D .. But that’s not the case when you hail from a college far down south, where in the name of discipline even friendly convos with people of the opposite sex is deemed illegal :@
It was another big day for us all...another "Symposium". Preparations ran for weeks and those phases of  my life could be termed as "InnovativeWorkSession #1"....There she was, "The Jill Of All Trades"!!..Truly she was such a brainbox and totally adorable young lady of the campus :) ...and that sympo was really a big deal for her and her man...Spelling success was not an easy job, but they were really going for it.Finally, the "B" day came.....
Everything went on sooo well that even techies and nerds of the college couldn't stop awing B) until..... the most anticipated event of the day came up! it turned out to be such a mess that the whole crowd was jeering at us :(....A total disaster indeed :'( , but then "We can't keep triggering  idea bulbs all the time :/ ...In fact I strongly believe that failures are the one that helps you take a turn for the best :)"!But hey, just wait...."Am i the only one hearing long sobs nearby :O ???" ...Hell yeah, there she was, my beautiful ravishing soul sister,on the corner of the first row, her own sobs disorienting her...Neither did we expect things to turn that horrible, but it was really a concern for her...My..My...My...The proud feminist aka the lion-hearted couldn't  stand a jeering pass :o !She willed to hold back her tears, but to no avail :'(
Something must be done right away, but we were totally helpless...no amount of coaxing from our side would soothe her soul :( ...Then came "her hero" <<who was equally upset by this awful twist>> Everybody including me was counting on him to cajole her with those honey-sweet romantic words, and bring her back to form. Down he came from the stage....
His eyes were deep colored, the darkest black imaginable, without any malice that one would associate with that color. They stared on..,looking at each other, trying to convey some unsaid message...Suddenly he spoke out.."WTH are you crying for? Don't be succha show off...just throw off the cry-babe mask of yours..arrrrghh"...they readily stared at each other again :/ ... "Was he getting finicky and weird??" was the only question running on everyone's mind....But on a closer look at him, i KNEW what he meant :) ...his point was loud and clear...."oh my love.... your tears are too much valuable to be wasted on such a trivial matter...skip it aside babe" <3 !...That one hard look from him conveyed the emotions words could not <3 <3 !!....ha, when one is in love the heart knows nothing :) :) ....Words seemed too shallow, that they weren't required for a pair "who could read thoughts in each others eyes" <3 ....
Everybody had their own unique way of dealing with glum situations;his stroke of bringing the josh back to the scene deserves an applause B)... Finally!,the corner of her lips turned into a smile :) =) ...he smiled back at her, looking deep into her eyes as though they were the epitome of profound grace and emotion! For a moment, i felt like i was watching the most hyped flick "neethane en ponvasantham" in Inox..back rows...with tubs of popcorns and servings of french fries :D .. Perhaps this pure and genuine love was the driving force behind all the Box Office hits of "The wizard of romance" Gautham Menon!
Stories that hold nothing new for us...almost every scene in the movie are predictable...and yet..they bind us completely <3 :) :) :) !!...that's it..that's the magic of love!! and yeah...coming back to reality...I totally loved having them around.....and they gave me all reasons too :). Wishing every bit of luck for their coveted courtship turn into a saga <3 <3 <3 !!!
Love is not a reality...for realities can be touched....
Love is not a dream....for dreams can be seen.....
Love is something beyond...something that is eternal <3 !
